Jinja Print founders, Sarah and Arianne, met during the Spring of 2019 while Arianne was studying abroad in Uganda. While visiting the town of Jinja, Arianne was drawn to Sarah’s craft shop after spotting the reusable African-print cloth bags hanging in the shop’s entrance. The two quickly discovered their shared passion for environmental protection, entrepreneurship, and women’s empowerment. They exchanged WhatsApp numbers and Arianne ended up designing her final “Anthropology and Social Change” project around her experience meeting and talking with Sarah…
